SYNOPSIS
Picassares is the guitarist’s homage to his fellow countryman Pablo Picasso. An album that broke records with more than 8,000 copies sold in Spain.
In this show Casares shows his most flamenco version and performs, in a very personal way, some of the passages of Picasso’s life. Thus, he evokes the birth of the painter with the malagueña “Málaga”, his death, instead, with the chanson “París”. Besides, we can notice the figures or movements from Picasso’s work in “El Minotauro” which in Picassares, the album, are represented by a fandango. Even cubism, which in this case would be a bulería, shows that all the notions that bring us closer to both the painter and the guitarist life, come together in this work.
