SYNOPSIS

Daniel Casares, as a faithful guitar lover, always wanted to perform the Concierto de Aranjuez. In 2015, the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra proposed him to perform it only twenty days in advance, and Daniel, a challenge lover, doesn’t even think about it twice. This concert is presented for the first time in Malaga in front of over 1000 spectators and the good reviews and enthusiasm of the audience make him add it as one of his repertoire. At present, he has performed the Concierto in more than 40 occasions, with more than 10 different orchestras and in such important events as the Día de la Hispanidad in the Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, the International Guitar Meeting of Paco de Lucia, or the White Night of Flamenco in Cordoba, as a commemorative event of the Hispanic world.

To complete the program, Daniel performs what became his first symphonic work for guitar and orchestra, La luna de Alejandra. Work composed by Daniel and orchestrated by the masters Arturo Díez Boscovich and  José Miguel Évora.
